WSET Level 1 Award in Wine Service

The WSET Level 1 Award in Wine Service builds on the knowledge and skills taught in the Level 1 Award in Wines course and shows how these skills can be used in a restaurant workplace. It is ideal for anyone who needs to gain basic skills in wine service, including those wishing to make their first steps into a career as a sommelier or wine waiter.

This is a classroom only course covering basic wine service, customer service skills, handling of glassware, wine service equipment and selection & service of wines. The class consists of six hours of instruction.
